- touhou was created by a demon lord named ZUN to punish and/or enslave hardcore gamers. their tears are used to make his special brand of beer, which he drinks copiously
- some levels of touhou have literally never been beaten by a human. those who say they did are actually robots or have ascended to a higher level of existence in playing the game
- there are 164 touhou games, but some are of sheer complexity that the human mind cannot retain the knowledge that they exist and shuts them out
- some telltale signs of a touhou fan: shrines dedicated to the avatars of unearthly spirits depicted in the games, mutterings in strange languages, development of third eye on forehead
